SPLIT APPLE ROCK

On the most spectacular of sites overlooking the entrance to the Abel Tasman National Park this house aims to make the most of its location whilst being sympathetic to its natural setting. Low slung and carefully integrated with planting and hard landscaping, the house wraps around a spur. Its dark blue walls, stonework and timber trim contribute to making this building read as part of its environment rather than as an interloper.
